Creative Connections - Revamp!

We’re revamping our Creative Connections program this season so it will include something for everyone to enjoy. There’ll still be the opportunity to meet new people, discover cool places, and eat good food!

The goal of Creative Connections is to aid in the creation of a strong arts and cultural community in Washtenaw County, by fostering social and business relationships through artistic connection.

This season Creative Connections will include (2) different types of events:

Networking & social events. These events will be a great way to meet new people and make good business & personal connections in an informal environment.
Educational & professional development events. These events will give participants a chance to learn about relevant topics from “experts” in the field, as well as share best practices, experiences and business cards.

If you are an actor without a costume; a painter without a gallery; a writer with a naked page; an administrator without art; or just plain creative - then this is the event for you! Creative Connections is a monthly gathering for creative & cultural folks in our region.

Locations will change every month, and so may dates and times. Be sure to check back often for updates.

Wednesday, September 9 from 6-8p.m. – Darwin's Studios, Chelsea (Kick-off Celebration with a Stained Glass demo, Croquet & antique slot machines)
Wednesday, October 14 from 6-8p.m.– Networking event at Original Gravity Brewery, Milan
Monday, November 9 from 6-8p.m.– Educational Program at the Ann Arbor Art Center
December – No event
Tuesday, January 12 from 6-8p.m. – Meet the Artist event at the Dreamland Theatre - Ypsilanti)
Tuesday, February 9 from 6-8p.m. – Educational Program at the Encore Theatre, Dexter (Event co-hosted by the Dexter Arts, Culture and Heritage Committee)
Tuesday, March 16 from 6-8p.m.– Meet the Artist at Elmo's Hideaway in Ann Arbor
Tuesday, April 13 from 6-8p.m. – Educational Program at the Saline Mill
Wednesday, May 13 from 6-8p.m., - Meet the Artist - Wild Acorn Gallery, and Blacksmith shops in Manchester
Wednesday, June 9 from 6-8p.m. – Networking event at the Leslie Science & Nature Center (Birds & Beer) in Ann Arbor
